Big rainbow are still the news here at Lake Camanche!

Rapala and tigerfire rapala lures were reported as hot baits for trout this week.  Hat Island, out by the dam and up river have been the popular spots to fish for trout.

Lake Camanche’s current elevation is 183.79 as of 3/17/15.

Water temperature at the launch ramp is approximately 60

degrees and the lake is 29% full or 51.71′ to spill.

The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 11 c.s.f.

and the outflow from Lake Camanche is

currently 225 c.s.f.

Bass have been hot down the Narrows as well as North Shore Day Use. Favorite baits have been worms, purple Senkos & jigs.

Ben Johnson of Elk Grove brought in this nice stringer of bass for a total weight of 6.99 lbs. Ben was shore fishing on the North shore using worms on Saturday 3/7.
