9/29/15 Lake Camanche Fishing Report
Local fisherman Adam Comstock reeled in this 9.26 lb catfish using mackel off the day use section of north shore last Tuesday 9/22.
Sheila M. and Dad from San Jose brought in this nice stringer of cats from last weekend 9/18 using chicken livers. The largest catfish weighed in at 7.14 lbs. They got their catch fishing out by the dam.
Although we saw lots of bass anglers out on their boats over the past week no one stopped in to share their information. (You know those tight lipped bass anglers)
Pardee Lake releases over past week have cooled water temperatures at Lake Camanche down to 72 degrees at the south shore ramp. The inflow from Pardee Lake is 965 c.s.f. as of 9/28/15 and the outflow from Lake Camanche is 106 c.s.f. Spill level is currently 59.31′ with approximately 3,300 surface acres of water.
NOTICE: Due to a large releases from Pardee & lower releases from Camanche the water level has risen. Please note that the south shore low water courtesy ramp #2 has now been reopened while ramp #3 has been closed.
Both North Shore courtesy ramps are currently open.
