Big catfish are hitting at the south shore trout pond. This is James Estes with his 25 lb. 10 oz. monster hauled in on Saturday. This puts James in at the top of the leader board to possibly win a 2017 annual pass.  Pictured below are his friends who were also fishing and brought in this 21 lbs. cat but as yo know if I don’t have their picture release I can only show the fish.

A bass club out of Sacramento was out at North Shore Saturday 10/22 for a non-advertised tournament of about 10-15 boats. Sorry I was too late to get any pictures but the talk from the store was that lots of little bass were caught with the winning weight  just over 4 lbs.

It won’t belong before we will be planting Mt. Lassen Trout. The surface water temperature as of 8:30 am 10/23 at the south pond and launch ramps was 68 degrees. Our order is in and we are just waiting for the temps to drop to 65 degrees.

Due to the heavy rains last week the inflow from Pardee Lake was 741 c.s.f. as of 10/23/16 and the outflow from Lake Camanche is 330 c.s.f.  Lake Camanche is currently 68% full as of  10/23/16.

All north and south shore courtesy ramps are open at full capacity.

Please note gasoline is still unavailable at the dock for boat fill up.
