The elevation at Lake Camanche was approximately 226.31′ as of this report and posting it at 84% of capacity on the CDEC website. Camanche’s releases have slowed to approx. 444 C.F.S. while receiving 318 C.F.S. from Lake Pardee. Pardee remained at 94% of capacity again at the time of this report.
Looks like we will have cooler overnight temps in store for us over the next week which should help the bring the lake temps down. As soon as the water temps are cooled enough we can start planting trout again!

Kristy and Mike Carpentier posted all the pictures below plus this terrific report of their trip on the Lake Camanche Fishing Facebook page,
“Lake Camanche 9-9-17
With the weather a little cooler than last weekend Mike and I decided to make a run for some trout. Got a late 8am start.
Trolled the main lake all day. Started out slow. A fish here and there until we found a sweet spot in the deep channel that we farmed for a total of nine trout and three bass. One small trout released as well as the bass. Lost a few fish as well.
Trout were 14-19” caught trolling 2.6-3.0 mph 28-38′ down on Speedy shiners in gold and also purple/blue.
Gvf Lures Golden wonderbread spin lure and also a Gvf pink Pheonix skinny lil draggin.
It’s always nice to run into friends on the lake like Robbie Dunham (Kokemachine) and meet his skipper for the day Diane. Robbie she is a doll!
Also nice to see Kevin Wilson and Abby for a bit before they headed out to the narrows. We really started to get overheated around 1pm so we called it a day. Besides we were HUNGRY!
Didn’t get our limits today but we did land 12 fish and that’s a fantastic day in my book that you all know that I keep!
In about a week we will be camping/fishing fools! Can’t wait to hit the mountain lakes! Hope you all have a great weekend and fish on!
Below: One of our regular anglers, Robbie Dunham was out on the lake on Saturday 9/9 and posted these pictures of fellow angler Diana Stockton and his report on FB as well,
