Lake Camanche Fishing Report 1/14/18

Rains from last week helped to push Lake Camanche back to 74% full, elevation of 219.82′. Lake Camanche continues to release approximately 334 C.F.S into the Mokelumne River while receiving approximately 1,000 C.F.S. from Pardee Lake.

Mt. Lassen trout farm delivered 1,200 lbs. the north ramp on Thursday 1/11/18. The total plants since October 34,800 lbs. We are expecting an additional 1,800 lbs. sometime before next weekend.

Rapalas F-9 @ 2.4 to 2.7 GPS… — with Chris Devincenzi.” Just look at that smile!

Right: Local expert trout angler, Robbie Dunham was also out with Bob Morris on 1/10/18 and pulled in this great looking double stringer! He listed using grubs and fishing the Narrows area.

Left & right: Alana Garcia fishing with husband Gabe Garcia posted to FB 1/13/18, “It’s been too long! 2 more and we’ll get our limit. Trolling speedy shiners by houseboats”

Right: Tia Thao posted this little guys on our FB message from last Sunday 1/7/18 stating that he likes the action!

Matt Brown Sr. emailed these shots and wrote, “Another jig loving spotted bass.”

“Also got a nice crappy on a two and a half inch deep-diving Crankbait lol.”

“Lots of Spotted bass fishing with jigs in 40′ of water, 1-7-18 53° surface temp. Jig bite has been good for numbers.”

Right: Mario Castillo of Galt brought in these two good looking trout with the largest one weighing in at 9.7 lbs. on 1/4/18. He listed south shore bank fishing and power worm as bait.

Right: Dan Valdez Sunday 1/7/18 posted, “Me and my fishing Buddy……..3 hours on the boat.”
