Lake Camanche Fishing Report 12/9/18

Lake Camanche was back up to 72% and an elevation of 218.56′ at the time of this report. The Lake was releasing approx. 338 C.F.S. while receiving twice that amount 793 C.F.S. from Pardee again at the time of this report.

Mt. Lassen Trout planted on Friday 12/7 releasing 900 lbs. into the pond. They also planted 900 lbs. to each shore at their boat ramps for a total of 2,700 lbs. We are expecting 3,000 lbs. sometime before next weekend.

Water temperatures are continuing to trend down, 56 degrees was reported by the Mt. Lassen driver on 12/7/18.

All three pictures above: Our local trout whisperer Robbie Dunham of Galt was busy over the last week. He was at the lake three times limiting each trip, 12/2, 12/4 & 12/6. Robbie wrote regarding the picture on the left, “Lake Camanche 12/2/18 15 Fish by 1:00 pm Steph and David had a great time today. Lot’s of Laughs…”

Boat Parade Safety Rules & Regulations

Registration Fee $10 for parade boats to be used as a cash prize for top winning boats
FREE gate entry for registered entries after 1:30 pm on Saturday 12/29/18 to decorate boats
FREE gate entry for spectators at 3 pm
Land spectators bring your chairs and blankets.
The Boat Parade will launch from North Shore.
Special EBMUD permits for night boating will be given at the gate for all participating boat owners.
Quagga Mussel inspection & form must be completed at the gate.
Sign off of safety rules by participants at the gate. Boat decorating commences at 1:30 pm 12/29/18.
Pre-registering is available by calling 209-763-5121 Opt.10 or emailing Terry at twillard@calparksco.com.
To participate boats must be legally registered, have navigation running lights and be equipped with enough PFDs onboard for the number of passengers present.
All boats on the water not participating in the parade are welcome to watch but must be anchored.   
All boat entries must be ready to shove off by 4:00 pm. Staging will begin at 4:30 pm.
The parade will start at 5 pm. Once the parade has left the marina there will be no late launching.
For the protection of all participants, all boats must follow single file behind the CRC SS Samantha.
The last boat in line will be CRC SS Gracie which will be at the end of the boat entries, again for safety.
Sorry, please no kayaks, jet boats or jet skies.
Prizes for best decorated top 3 boats over 25’ and prizes for best decorated top 3 boats under 24’.

All decorated boat entries will receive a gift certificate for a Free Day Use & Boat entry for a future date.
