Lake Camanche Fishing Report 3/25/2015

DSCN2531 (1024x768)

An exciting week out at Lake Camanche with the opening of the new Children’s Fishing Area at the South Shore tule pond.

Teaching a new generation of children to fish & bringing families together is our goal. Thanks to the consolidated efforts of the Lake Camanche Residents, East Bay Municipal Utility District and Camanche Recreation Company 100 children received new fishing poles and tackle boxes. Residents cooked and served lunch to the children and their families.

A great time was had by all.

Due to drought like conditions and the fluctuating lake levels…Camanche would like to remind our guests to “Boat at your own Risk” as stated in the Rules and Regulations under Boating.

At this time our South Shore Low water ramp is temporarily closed.  Boaters will want to use the North shore for launching.  We will keep updated when the South shore ramp is repaired and opened. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
