Lake Camanche remained at 90% over the last week with releases from Pardee Lake almost matching Camanche’s releases. Elevation of Lake Camanche is approximately 229.65′ at the time of this report. Pardee is releasing 860 C.F.S. into Lake Camanche while Camanche is releasing approx. 900 C.F.S. Surface temperatures are also remaining warm with reported temps between 80 – 84 degrees. While not many anglers have reported their catches this week we know by the fish cleaning stations that they are catching crappie, trout, catfish and bass.
Matthew, aka bassadict209posted these pictures on Instagram Sunday 7/30 and wrote, ” Hit @lakecamanche with my buddy @stannthemailymanca. Had a tough day but always a blast on the water.”
Another Instagramer tvalent74 posted this shot on Saturday 7/29 and commented, ” Saw a mature bald eagle and landed a few chunks @lakecamanche this morning.#catchandrelease
@Sweatshopbaits was out to lake on the 21st and posted these shots to Instagram. His captions read, “Had an awesome day on @lakecamanche as you can see, they are chewing. @tacklewarehouse @powell_rods @mercurymarine” and he also wrote, “I doon’t know why I wore a dark @tacklewarehouse shirt during the heat. Smoking hot day but yeilded some skinny piggys. @lakecamanche”
Yet another Instagramer, Matt Frazier @frazierluckfishing posted this shot and said, “Nothing like falling into a 104 degree midday topwater bite! One of the most exciting flurries I’ve lucked into! @undercoversportsman.”
