Lake Camanche was 88% full at the time of this post. Lake Pardee is releasing approximately 492 C.F.S. while Camanche is releasing approx. 701 C.F.S. At the time of this report the elevation of Lake Camanche was 228.67′. Water surface temperatures are between 80 – 84 degrees.
Left: Local angler, Adam Comstock brought in this 10.62 lb. catfish on 8/12. He reported that he was fishing north shore day use and using mackerel for bait.
Right: Peter Kutsar brought in these two cats in on 7/29 using cornmeal weighing in at 8.13 and 9.24 lbs.
Left: Cherie Thompson was out with her family on 8/4 and posted this shot to Facebook and commented, “Our 7 year old daughter caught this cat fish Wednesday night. In the blue oaks camp ground. It was her first fish. What a doozy!!!! We have been coming here since I was little. We love this place!!!”
Regular angler Robbie Dunham of Galt came out on 8/8 with friends Dustin and Chris and gave us this report.
“Late Evening Trip for Trout, 1:00pm to 6:00pm, Lost the first fish, But Boated the next 9
35′ to 45′ Speedy Shiners, Little hat to the Dam.
Dustin Marsh and Chris Jensen were the Anglers.”
Novice angler Devon Lewis of Stockton was out fishing at Camper’s Cove on Saturday 8/12. He’s a natural at catching bass! Store staff said he was using a purple Robo worm when catching these chunky 5.98, 3.14 & 2.45 lbs. bass. Nice job Devon!
