Lake Camanche Fishing Report 8/18/18

226.83′ elevation and 85% full Lake Camanche continues to release at approx. 352 C.F.S. while receiving approx. 150 C.F.S from Pardee Lake. At the time of this report, Pardee Lake was reading 98% full.

Lake Camanche water temperatures are warm, between 81-83 degrees have been reported.

Cover, left and right: Casey Flannagan took his boys out on Sunday 8/12 and posted these pictures on NorCal Fish Whisperers’ FB page. He wrote, “had a great time at Camanche this weekend! so did the boys.”

Right: Friday 8/10 Steve Book posted this shot to the Lake Camanche Fishing’s FB page and wrote, “Tough today , handful of dinks, one decent one. All bass were caught on darthead grubs that day.”

Left: Robbie Dunham posted to our Facebook page on Tuesday 8/14/18 and wrote the following report.
“WOW!!! Still going strong!!!
Today, I had Terry L. Grimes with me. I invited him out to see if the Lassen Rainbows still wanted to bite. It was a Fast Morning!!! We landed 10 Nice Rainbows by 9:00am. We also released 4 Bass and had 5 other trout come off. So about 20 grabs in 3 hours of trolling. Speedy Shiners – 2.7 to 2.8 GPS 45′ to 55′ Thank You Terry for Joining me today. Here are some photo’s to Enjoy!!!”

Right: Dan Valdez posted on Lake Camanche Fishing‘s FB page this shot of his 4 cats on Wednesday 8/15 and reported, “Inflated Xlarge night crawlers 12 inches up from a small slip sinker bail open #1 sharp hook. You can also dip in chicken blood/juice.  From first daylight until about 9am then the bite shuts off. South Shore. in the lake behind the trout pond/ Trailer Hookup site.”
