Left & right: Kristy & Mike Carpentier posted this report on FB. “Lake Camanche 2-23-19 On the water at 8:10. Fast trolled the main lake for two 16.5” trout. Both toplined and both on Gvf Lures trolling spoons. We missed you today Rich! Hope you feel better soon buddy! Trolled all the way to the narrows and set up our slow troll. Water was stained and the bites were missing. We through a lot at them today including Grubs, Wooly buggers and Rapalas. Should have probably stayed in the main lake instead of making the mistake of leaving fish to find fish. We left the lake at 1pm. Still enjoyable to get out on the boat and also very nice to finally meet Terry Willard at the boat launch this morning. Hope everyone has a great weekend and soak in a little bit of sun before the rain comes back next week. Til next time friends….M&K”
