EBMUD has slowed the outflow from Lake Camanche down a bit to 2,000 C.F.S. from 2,700 C.F.S this week. The elevation was reading 219.68′ and 74% full as of this report. Lake Pardee was reported to be 91% full, again at the time of this report.
Rainy weather and continued substantial releases from Pardee Lake was creating areas of floating debris from the Lancha Plana Bridge back up the arm of the lake. Shorelines are stained from the runoff in some areas.
Mt. Lassen trout surprised us with a plant on Tuesday 2/26/19 of 900 lbs. all of which was delivered to the south lake at the boat ramp. The big surprise for this week is that we will be getting 500 lbs. of lightning trout along with 400 lbs. of rainbows to the pond. An additional 900 lbs. will go to the north shore boat ramp sometime before next weekend.
