Ongoing plants of Mt. Lassen Rainbows at Lake Camanche North Shore, South Shore and Trout Pond with approximately 1200 lbs. going in at each of these three locations on 12/21/20 for a total of 3600 lbs. Good catches have been reported on green Powerbait, Kastmaster spoons and a variety of spinners but the the hottest bite currently is on crappie jigs. A total of 15,000+ pounds of have been stocked this fall season.  

Bass are biting in Marina Cove and while camping is currently closed at Lake Camanche … day use and boating day use are open as well as boat rentals and the retail operation.  

Song Vang of Stockton caught 12.69 lbs. of rainbows outside of the south shore marina. Caught on Sunday December 27th. Biggest fish weighed in at 6.10 lbs. Caught on crankbait during choppy winds.
